Happy Friday and thank you for stopping by today to have a look at my altered cigar box using those most fabulous Vintage Fashion stamps released earlier in October and the Beautiful Borders die from ODBD!
This box started with a couple of coats of white gesso followed by a mix of DecoArts Traditions Raw Sienna and Raw Umber applied double loaded on a brush and slip slapped on with a touch of lighter paint.
An embossed layer of card stock was added and colored with various Distress inks and highlighted.
And now the fun begins with gathering embellishments, added the beautiful die cut trim and those fashion images!
All the stamped images were stamped in Coffee Archival and fussy cut! I used some pinking scissors to cut the sentiments.
All sides were finished with the Beautiful Border Trim which was Distress inked to add a vintage touch. On the zipper trim more stamping added. The inside was covered with some old McCalls pattern paper, a bit more trim and another stamped label.
Have a wonderful weekend!
