Holidays In June!

Happy Friday to you all and I am sharing a tag from our recent AO Holiday Blog Hop! It is never too early to start thinking about the Holidays and starting a little stash! There are are few days left to join in the monthly "Show Us Your AO Art," so hurry up!

My tag uses the MidWinter stamp collection in which all images have been stamped in Black Archival on Our Daily Bread Designs, Christmas Collection Paper 2013. Love that paper with these fabulous stamps!

The Christmas Paper was cut from the Carved Ornament Die and after the gorgeous Cardinal image was stamped it was colored with Stampin Up Markers is soft shades. I also stamped it a second time for extra Pine Cones.

The Sentiments were also stamped in Black Archival on the Christmas Paper and layered. Love the added interest with the paper. All edges where shaded using Vintage Photo and Black Soot.

The tag background was painted in a tan acrylic paint and while wet I applied Color Burst and spritzed with water. After that was dry I applied a two step crackle medium per manufacturers instructions and then sprayed on Chalkboard Glimmer Mist in Hot Chocolate and wiped off the excess. To finish off, I stamped the Pine Branches in Black Archival and added a dyed tie!
