I was perusing my Artistic Outpost stamp sets and realized I have not inked up my Paperboy set yet--Ding Ding...idea instantly happened! That's a rare treat!
I had two tags all ready to go, that I brought out for this project-a #10 Distressed Stained jumbo manila tag and a #8 stenciled & gesso'd kraft tag. I stamped all of the fussy cut images onto mixed-media paper and colored with my Distress Markers and water brush.
The megaphones are heat embossed with Red Geranium EP and the pencils, from the Secretary Pool set, are coated with a thin layer of Diamond Glaze. I even gave our paperboy here a fussy cut paper that I stamped 'What's the buzz' onto, using a stamp positioner, but part of it got snipped off during finishing touches.
I stamped the quote onto a journaling ticket with Jet Black Archival ink and stapled to the tag. Before I adhered all of the kids into place, I gave the tag a flicking of Hunter Grey Twinkling H20s. All of the fussy cuts images were adhered down to the tag with matte multi-medium, then I pressed the tag between some heavy books to seal everything into place.
I've got a few more details about this tag available at my blog, if you'd like to pop over and have a looksee. Thank you so much for taking a little time out of your Easter celebrations to join me here at Artistic Outpost today.
