What a happy Friday it is and I am so excited to share with you a card I created using those new Hat's Off and Hats Background stamps. Now if you missed the new release, be sure to click right HERE for all the details! Before I start, there is still some time to enter your gorgeous AO projects in the January,"Show Us Your AO Art" challenge for a change to win a $15 gift certificate to the store!
I fell in love with the New Release and I really don't have a favorite, but I love to make masculine or grungy type cards and tags and these are just what the doctor ordered! I cut the background panel for the Hat's Background to 5" x 5" and inked the over with Shabby Shutters, Crushed Olive, Pumice Stone and Crushed Corduroy. The green areas were shaded in Walnut Stain and brown areas in Peeled Paint and then I flicked on some water. Used Black Soot to shade in the corners and stamped the Hats Background using Black Archival.
That dapper gentleman from Hat's Off was stamped in Black Archival and colored using inks listed above and a little Tattered Rose for his skin color and then I went over the entire image with Antique Linen. I decided to cut a second hate for a little extra dimension. To finished I stamped and cut apart the sentiment and place it over filmstrip and added a few metal bits and chain. Fun images to work with.
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!
