Treat me like a Queen

Hello Artistic Outpost fans!  Lisa here, with my weekly share on the AO Blog.  This week, I've created a Mixed Media card using stamps from the Wonderland Collage and London Underground stamp sets.

The background panel was created using the Gelli Plate along with DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint in Coastal Waters, Flamingo and Cotton Ball.  The stenciled area on the monoprint background was created by placing a die cut card stock panel using the ODBD Custom Doily Dies onto the Gelli Plate before printing onto my Mixed Media panel.

The sentiment is from the London Underground stamp set.  Fellow DT member Kate Yetter inspired me do use this on my project - you'll see why later this week when she shares her project.

I stamped the image from Wonderland Collage, cut it out and colored it using watercolor pencils, blending with mineral spirits and adhered both the sentiment and stamped image to the card using DecoArt Deco-Page.

Don't forget, if you use AO stamp sets on your projects, we would LOVE to see them!  Enter them in our monthly Show us Your AO Art Challenge, for a chance to win an Artistic Outpost gift certificate!

PS - if you live near Lore City, Ohio, you can shop the Artistic Outpost Booth this weekend at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge!  Our Daily Bread Designs (AO's parent company) will have the ODBD, NCC and AO booth set up with their entire product line of over 850+ stamp sets, custom dies and paper pads!
