Dare to Live the Life

Hi there, Lisa here today with my weekly share on the Artistic Outpost Blog! This week I created a Mixed Media card using images from the Cowgirls Strength, Kudzu Kafe and Keep plates. To create the background I used the Gelli Arts Plate, DecoArt Multi Surface Paints and Just A Trace Stencils.  Once the background panel was dry, I stamped the Cowgirl and Pennant Bunting in Ranger Black Archival Ink.  I stamped a portion of the bunting a second time on scraps, cut them out and adhered over the stamped image.  The grass is from the Keep plate, stamped in Black Archival.  I stamped the sentiment from Kudzu Kafe on scraps of the monoprinted background, sponged the edges with Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and adhered it to the background, outlining it for added depth.
