It Must Be Love!
Happy Wednesday to you all and today I am going to share a mixed media hanging heart combining the beautiful Flapper Fashions and manly SteamPunk collections! I really think these two are meant to be together!
This started out as a plain wooden heart and I added the flowers and metal parts and then covered all in white gesso and let dry. I then spayed with Butterscotch and Espresso Color Wash and when dry highlighted.

The images were stamped using black Archival and clear embossed and colored on the reverse side with Distress inks, sprayed with a matte sealer. I also then painted over that with white, so my images would show through once glued down.
