Hello all... Lots of little stars on today's tag - a creation inspired by my AO team-mate Funkie Junkie Linda Coughlin's 12 Tags of Christmas.
The little cabin from the Midwinter set was Linda's focal image - you can see her amazing original tag here. As it's one of my favourites, that was easy... and then I used all Artistic Outpost stamps to create the rest of the tag.
The snowflakes are from Sleigh Ride (the smaller ones) and Snowy Woods (the larger ones). They're stamped onto a wrinkle-free distress background of Pumice Stone, Picket Fence and Frayed Burlap, with some Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls added to the mix.
And the little Joyeux Noel sentiment is from Snowy Woods.
The pine cones take us back to Midwinter again...
... and so do the words - from my favourite Christmas carol. In the Bleak Midwinter would obviously have to be part of the Midwinter set! Lots of Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls in the background here.
The tree is triple embossed with gold embossing powder before being stamped with a script stamp.
And the little stars were given a touch of white chalk ink before being covered with Rock Candy Dry Glitter.
The bits of cheesecloth were dyed with Distress Stains to tone in with the background, and there's some more gold embossing powder scattered within the mesh, as well as some Idea-ology linen ribbon to top the whole thing off.
Thank you, Linda - I had a lovely time making this tag with your inspiration and the Artistic Outpost stamps.
If you've been creating using AO stamps, then come and play in December's Artistic Outpost Referral Program - we love seeing what you've been doing! Thanks so much for stopping by today and see you again soon.

It's beautiful Alison and I love the softness and gentle colour, that hint of glitter is very pretty too. Chris x
Just gorgeous Alison and so reminiscent of a snowy winter scene in the Alps too.
I've been playing with that set too and love it - my favourite this year I think!
Hugs, Fliss xx
A lovely tag, which showcases the beautiful Artistic Outpost stamps so perfectly! I love the frosty colours and the wintry textures. A friend of mine who lived in Birchington, once told me that was where this carol was composed by Rossetti. We were standing on a bitterly cold, Birchington station platform when he shared this! Julie Ann xx.
Oh so wonderful Alison. I want to sing a Christmas song. Hugs Rita xxx
