And it's another Funkie Junkie inspired tag - where would I have been without Linda Coughlin this year?!?
And the other "go to" inspiration has been the Snowy Woods plate - absolutely the best Christmas stamps ever! That's where you'll find this wonderful wintry Father Christmas...
He's stamped on a gesso'd book page and framed within the Sizzix Ornate Frame die which has had a dusting of Rock Candy Dry Glitter.
The background was created by spreading Grunge Paste through the Tim Holtz Holly mask, and then I layered up paint and ink over it until I was happy. I added some music stamping from the Ephemera Backgrounds.
A couple of book page holly leaves, real twigs bundled together with twine and some decorative berries are resting on the gauzy bow.
And the corrugated background has had the paint/Dry Glitter treatment too and there's a touch of Shabby White Frantage for good measure... all done!
If you're quick with your Artistic Outpost projects, you'll just make it for the December Referral Program - you have until the end of 2013!!
Wishing everyone a very happy New Year... I'll see you on the other side!!

A terrific tag, love all the textures and the design.
So lovely, Alison! That background is wonderful and Santa looks right at home! Hugs!
LOL, Alison. Where would I be without you to play in my little challenge? It's wonderful how we all inspire each other. Your tag is terrific. I love the corrugated cardboard backing and the way you stamped Fr. Christmas over the text paper. The font on it is so cool.
Hugs,
Linda
