I just love it when Wednesday rolls around and it is my turn to share with you lovely crafters!  This is one of the tags I created using the brand new, knock your socks off "Paperboy" collection.   Speaking of "brand new," the March Referral Program has just started, so ink up those AO stamps and join in all the fun.
The background was lightly inked using Tumbled Glass and then heat set, prior to embossing.  Once embossed, I highlighted the raised areas using Brushed Corduroy and clear embossed.  Next I rubbed in Salty Ocean and clear embossed the entire tag twice!
All the print was stamped on newsprint with Archival Black and then shaded using Walnut Stain.  The boy was stamped using Archival Black on Vanilla card stock, colored with SU chalks for the face, legs, arms, Old Paper Distress marker for hat and pants, Tumbled Glass for his shirt.  Once colored he was cut out.  I went online to print out a newspaper and then resized it and folded it up to look just like a little stack of papers, you may have seen back in the day!
Thank you for visiting today and I hope you are having a fabulous week!
