Happy Good Friday. Suzz here.
I am back today sharing a project using the fun Paperboy plate
I was first inspired with newspaper and using the kraft and neutral colors with the plates and images. Along the way I wanted to play with the skyline and see if I could create a cityscape using the buildings from the Neverland along with the city from Paperboy .
I stamped the Paperboy image in the left corner of my cardstock using black ink. I stamped the buildings from the Neverland plate on the right side with black ink. I created a mask by stamping the same image on copy paper. I cut out the image to mask my buildings. I stamped a second row of buildings over the masked area. I also stamped a second set of buildings on another piece of white cardstock and cut the pieces out and added one of the buildings to the cityscape for height.
I stamped the sentiment from the Huck Finn plate in the sky. I layered a background piece stamped with the newsprint from paper boy and added a few banners along the bottom using the same text.
Hope you have a lovely Easter!

This is great! And I love that sentiment. I've quoted that to my kids on numerous occasions.
Brilliant cityscape - the b&w is stunning with these stamps!

Love the entire city scene you have created! Wonderful combination of stamps!
This is fab, Suzz. You have given this plate a completely different look. Your DT sisters have been driving me mad, tormenting me with this stamp set - they know who they are!
