Working 9 to 5!

I hope everything is going well for you on this Wednesday and that you are getting in plenty of inky time.  There is still a little time to join in the January Referral program, so gather up those Artistic Outpost stamps and have some fun!  Speaking of fun and inky time, I had a blast putting this tag together using the Secretary Pool collection!  In my working days, I was a secretary and also a pretty advanced sewer, so I could not wait to ink up these stamps and play along with a "dress to impress" challenge.  So here is how it all went.

The alphabet stamp in this fabulous set is amazing for making a full tag background.  I stamped a pattern using Black Archival and then heat set.  Masked off the different areas and inked with various Distress colors.  The yellow background tag edge was stamped using the paper clip to add extra interest.  All edges were distressed and shaded.   The ribbon tie was inked and stamped with the pencil and paper clip using Archival and again heat set.
Both the typewriter, pencils and phone were stamped in Black Archival and clear embossed and fussy cut.  I computer generated the "type print" on regular printer paper and then stamped a second typewrite image and cut out.  All write areas were lightly inked over with Black Soot.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope the rest of your week is wonderful!
