She Knows her Own Strength
I just love the new Cowgirl Strength plate - there's so many wonderful ways to use these stamps, not to mention 3 beautiful focal images!
My piece is a 4" x 6" Mixed Media Canvas. I purchased a 5" x 7" flat Canvas from Michaels and cut it to size so there wasn't a lot of extra space.
The background is created with pieces of pattern paper from the My Minds Eye Lost and Found Ruby Collection, Gesso, paints, Stencils and stamps from the Cowgirl Strength plate. The Cowgirl is stamped on a scrap piece of pattern paper, her outfit was also stamped on scraps and pieced over the stamped image. The banner was stamped onto the Canvas, then stamped again on to scrap pieces of pattern paper and pieced into place.

I love this! The technique of stamping onto patterned paper and then adding scraps to the image can be used so many ways. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration!
