Cowgirl Strength

I think some days we all could use a little reminder of our own strength. 

I used the Cowgirl Strength plate to create a card as a reminder of  strength and courage we all possess.
My main panel started with the stamped ledger from Ephemera Backgrounds in brown ink on white cardstock.  I added a light layering of the cowhide in brown ink.     The main image was stamped  and colored with watercolor pencils an waterbrush.  I pulled out my leather laces to tie around the top with a embossed star.  I finished the card with a layer of pattern paper that looks like denim.  Add a little distressing and sponging around the edge to create a very rustic and western effect.

    Gorgeous - love the blending in the background to leave that glowing white area, and the cowgirl looks fabulous!
