Before the autumn slips away into winter, I wanted to share one last tag made with the Old Grist Mill set.  I have used this set so many times this fall and have been absolutely delighted with the results.  This one has wonderful warm colors achieved by blending Distress Stains.  Once I applied the stains and dried the tag, I went around the edges with the "simplify" stamp and also used the leaf stamp to create a background.  The old grist mill was stamped in Coffee archival and edged with a mixture of UTEE and gold EP.  I finished off the tag by adding some metal flowers that I had painted with Vintaj patinas plus some burlap and corrugated cardboard.  Easy peasy and so pretty!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

  1. It's so grim, grey and rainy here today, that this has come as a delightful lift to the spirits - beautiful, thank you!
