Autumn Resist

There seem to be a lot of resist technique challenges currently running and I decided to make a tag to play.  This autumn tag was created using the Bluebird plate and Tim Holtz's kraft resist paper stash.  I kept it simple and fairly monochromatic by doing my resist with Picket Fence distress stain.  After applying the stain, I stamped other bird images from the Bluebird plate onto the kraft paper.  The main focal panel was stamped on manila CS with Coffee archival ink and I added a sunflower, a yellow tag and some Vintaj charms that I had applied patina to.  To really pull in the fall feel, I die cut leaves from parchment paper and randomly applied alcohol inks to them.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you are enjoying some lovely weather as we move into the fall season of the year here in the USA.
