Don't you just love this quote that comes with the new MidWinter plate? So uplifting and wonderful - just like this MidWinter plate is wonderful! For this card, I wanted a feel of a very vintage country winter scene and opted to go with a kraft monochromatic palette with accents done in black. I kept it simple using the quote and the hare for embellishments plus a little bottle of snow with summer breaking through. A pretty piece of black lace, an altered filigree corner and some corrugated cardboard snowflakes finished it off.

Linda, this is one of the most inspirational cards that I have ever seen! Like Anne, I love the 'Summer' in a bottle and that quote is amazing. This would be such a great card to send to a friend who has been facing tough times! Your colour scheme worked so well too xx
