DISCOVER, EXPLORE, DREAM

The June referral theme is MASCULINE and I thought the Huck Finn plate was perfect to add a masculine touch to my card.

I cut a circle from scrap paper and used the aperture as a mask, sponging Distress Inks broken china, faded jeans and weathered wood through the aperture to create my scene and adding the fabulous ship image stamped with black Archival Ink.

For further interest to the background I sponged broken china ink through sequin waste and added the wonderful sentiment to the bottom corner.  I cut a smaller circle from card and stamped part of the same sentiment onto my circle and coloured with Distress Inks adding a little hessian to the background.
