SPRINGPUNK BIRD

Our March referral theme is SPRINGPUNK and the first thing I thought when I saw the theme was BIRDS,  so here we have my SPRINGPUNK bird!

I have added images from Charles & Amelia and Industrial Backgrounds plates. My first image has been added to a Tim Holtz pocket watch with text from a vintage book added in the background and coloured with Distress Ink broken china to give more of a Spring feel. An Art Parts key has been added to my clockwork bird which I have coloured with silver Paint Dabber. Cogs from the Industrial Backgrounds plate have been added to my birds legs and head along with a propeller.

And the reverse of my bird again decorated with vintage paper, image stamped in black Archival Ink and a little metal from my husbands tool box to add to the industrial feel.
