Adventure Is Worthwhile In Itself

I have been using the fabulous new Charles & Amelia plate to create my hinged card.

  • Add torn pieces of vintage paper to the background sections and colour with Gesso and age with vintage photo Distress Ink.
  • Stamp the images from Charles & Amelia onto kraft card, cut out and age with vintage photo Distress Ink.
  • Cut mini gears from thick card colour with Distress Ink and add Clear Rock Candy to the top randomly, do not cover the entire area.  Colour again with Distress Ink, the areas that are not covered with Rock Candy appear darker.
  • Add propeller adding a copper brad to the centre.
The inside of my card also uses images from the fabulous Industrial Chic plate.

Thanks for stopping by.

Great design, how did you make the four windows on the front of the card?

Hi Mary, the front of the card is a box I kept from some packaging from Christmas. Tracy x

This design is so terrific and works like magic for this set. Super work, Tracy. I really love the sepia tones you used for this one.
