Greetings From Home

This looks like where I live. The old barns that dot the fields all around us. That's what inspired this card. The photo is a faux tin type I made of my father and my aunt when they were small children playing in a corn field. Image from the Home plate. Find it at artisticoutpost

Mother's Day Card

Artwork by Cathy Edgar, Guest Designer
Stamp Plates: Keeper and Mini Masterpieces
All images are stamps except the buttons and prima flowers. I love the way the bows above the M's look like real ribbon bows and the lace at the bottom is a stamp too. Solves the problem of trying to find vintage lace :)

Class Reunion Scrapbook layout

Artwork by Cathy Edgar, Guest Designer

Stamp sets used: Home and Vintage Circus
I have a class reunion this year, yeah do the math, I'm getting up there.
I used the barn, Home, trees, barbed wire and sentiment "country roads take me home" from the Home stamp plate. My home town was a small rural community so the Home plate was perfect for my page.
Our mascot was the Wildcat and it looked surprisingly exactly like the tiger from Vintage Circus so I just had to add him.

In the Spotlight--Send in the Clowns!

Artwork by Cathy Edgar, Guest Designer
Stamp Plate: Send in the Clowns
I never got to go to the Circus as a kid but I have enjoyed going as an adult with my kids and grandkids. My favorite part is to sit in the dark arena with the camera's flashing and the spotlight on the center ring. This is what I tried to create with my "In the Spotlight" mini poster.
