Live, Laugh, Play- The Game of Golf

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a fun card using the Artistic Outpost stamp sets, The Golf Club and Grunge Elements along with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies (all available at Our Daily Bread Designs).

To create the background panel, I repeatedly stamped the background collage image from AO The Golf Club stamp set with black soot distress ink onto taupe cardstock, spritzed it with a bit of water, allowed the panel to dry and stamped the corner splatter stamp from AO Grunge Elements stamp set with taupe ink over the edges.

I distressed the edges of the background panel, added the two strips of black satin ribbon, mounted the distressed panel onto black cardstock, distressed the edges of the black cardstock layer with the distressing tool before mounting onto the white card base.

For the focal image panel, I stamped the background collage stamp from AO The Golf Club stamp set with archival black ink onto white cardstock, watercolored with taupe, tangerine and emerald ink, added additional distressing with the corner splatter stamp from AO Grunge Elements stamp set  before trimming and mounting onto black cardstock.

I stamped the golfer images from AO The Golf Club stamp set with archival black ink, fussy-cut the images, mounted each onto black cardstock and fussy-cut again before adhering to the focal image panel.

I stamped the sentiment from AO The Golf Club stamp set with archival black ink onto white cardstock, die cut and embossed with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies, mounted onto black cardstock, trimmed and mounted onto the focal image panel with dimensional foam.

I added the entire layered focal image panel with dimensional foam to the card front to finish off the card.

Again, I hope I have inspired you to pull out your Artistic Outpost stamps and create a project this weekend!  If so, please share with us on our Artistic Outpost Facebook page- we would be thrilled to see your creations!

Thanks for taking the time to visit us today-  I hope you have a wonderful week!
