What's the Buzz?

Hello, Avril here, and today I'm showcasing a card using stamps from PaperboyEphemera Backgrounds and Grunge Elements, all available from Our Daily Bread Designs website.

I stamped my newspaper boy in Watering can Archival ink, and fussy cut  him before colouring with Distress Inks. I then repeat stamped the buildings from the same set, trimmed and adhered to a piece of corrugated card,  my boy was attached with foam pads and placed outside the image for added dimension.  The sentiment was stamped, trimmed and then I used Versamark and Clear EP to coat it all and  heat embossed to give a glossy finish.  The background Ledger sheet and Postcard  are from the Ephemera Backgrounds.

The base of the card was repeatedly stamped with the splashes and splats stamps from Grunge Elements before distressing with Ground Espresso ink.

I hope I've inspired you to ink up your Artistic Outpost rubber stamps and create, and of course if you do, why not show us what you make and join in our monthly challenge 'Show us Your AO Art',  all the details can be found here.
