Bird Song

Hello and welcome to my weekly post and this week I'm showcasing the Serenity set of stamps.
I started by masking off the birds and leaf swirls part of the image with low tac masking tape and used Potting Soil Archival ink on the words.  I removed the tape and then used Peeled Paint on the leaves and Tumbled Glass on the birds.  To keep the ink moist I 'huffed' on the stamp before stamping on white cardstock and immediately sprinkled Clear EP and heat set.

My next layer, a piece of pink card was stamped with the small swirl stamp using Tattered Rose DI, just to add a little interest.   I did the same stamping on a small tag and again used Tattered  Rose DI to colour the tag, before stamping the quote in Potting soil and again heat setting with Clear EP.
I've used the Blushing Rose paper pad for the base layer along with two doilies cut with  the Doily Dies, both available from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I hope I've inspired you to ink up your Artistic Outpost rubber stamps and create as you've still got a couple of weeks left to join in our July challenge.  All the details can be found here.
