Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie here, with the new March
release stamp sets, Ice Cream Shoppe along with Bottle Caps Background.
I stamped the images
from both sets onto white cardstock using Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink and die cut
the Bottle Caps Background image using the ODBD Double Stitched Circle Dies and
the Ice Cream Shoppe sentiment with the ODBD Double Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I fussy cut the Ice Cream Shoppe girl image and the two ice cream cones, sponging red ink onto the images for a bit more distressing.
I applied Tim Holtz® Crazing Distress Medium over the Bottle Caps Background die cut along with the ice cream cones (it is a bit difficult to see the crazing in the photo).

The background panel was
created by applying Tim Holtz® Picket Fence Distress Stain over the piece of designer
paper from the ODBD Heart and Soul Paper Collection and once dried, Brilliant Red
Brusho® watercolor was added.
The stamped Bottle Caps Background and Ice Cream Shoppe images were added
to the background with dimensional foam to finish off this fun card.

Hi Julie, I love your fun vintage images and hope to come back to this blog often. Thanks for drawing my attention to it. What a great idea to keep the colour palette simple to focus more attention on the images themselves.
Love the colors! xoxo
