Robins

Even though we are into the Fall season, I wanted to share a little birdhouse using "Birds of a Feather" and those darling Robins!

This began with one of those cheap little finds at Michael's that was stained using a mix of Espresso Grounds and Hickory Smoke. When good and dry, I used DecoArt crackle paint on the roof top.

All images were stamped in Black Archival on tissue paper and colored on the reverse side with Stampin Up markers. Each panel was cut to fit the birdhouse section and adhered with gel medium.

The sentiment was cut to fit as well, and all areas shaded in Black Soot and then spayed with a clear sealer before adding a final coat of gel medium.  This was a fun project and will make a nice little gift!

Thank you for stopping by and there is only a few days left to share your AO artistic talents at the "Show Us Your AO Art," so come on!
