Under the Boardwalk!

It is another HOT Friday here in California and it has me dreaming about being Under the Boardwalk and listening to the Sound of the Sea! Today I am sharing a tag combining very cool Artistic Outpost stamps and a little mixed media fun! There is just a little over a week to enter the August "Show Us Your AO Art" and we would love to see you there!

The background for the tag began by combining DecoArt Media paints and Color Burst powders and then a spray of water and moving the tag around to cover. When all was done, I also sprayed a second tag with a little water and then swiped the smaller tag over it and then blended with a baby wipe. Next I applied some crackle paint through the Rays stencil, let it dry a little and then painted over the entire tag. When completed dried and crackled, I applied Salty Ocean over the Rays stencil and then shaded in Black Soot. Next I stamped the Beach House with Watering Can Archival, twice and masking over the first house.

The Sound of the Sea darling was stamped in Black Archival, watercolored and then fussy cut and the sentiment and sign was also stamped in Black Archival, shaded in Black Soot and cut apart.
