Holly and the Ivy

Happy Friday to you all and I am excited to share with you today another piece from the AO new release. There is only one more week remaining to enter the February, "Show Us Your AO Art," so hurry up and get inky with AO!

Are you loving the new singles from Artistic Outpost which are so wonderful to mix and match or just use alone? This lovely "Holly and the Ivy" was stamped in black Archival and with a wet liner brush I watercolored in the areas using Mowed Lawn, Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap and Tattered Rose. When that was dry, I inked over the open areas with and coat trim with Antique Linen.

The background panel was inked with Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn, next using the Holly Bough Stencil, I applied modeling paste that had been tinted with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint. After it was completely dried, it was inked over with Antique Linen and flicked on a little water. Again when all was dry, I applied a thick coat of One Step Crackle and that was inked with Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain.
