January 2, 2015

Greetings!

Hello and I hope you all are doing well on this first Friday in 2015. Today I am sharing a card using stamps from Home and Route 66 which was made to fit inside of a #10 envelope.
For the background, I used the Route 66 map stamped in Watering Can Archival over paper inked with Distress Old Paper, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Black Soot for shading.
The farm scene was stamped in Sepia Archival over paper that was wrinkled and inked as above.
The weathervane image was pretty much inked the same, but I removed the Sepia and applied Stazon Olive, trying to keep a balance of browns and green.
Next the truck was stamped and fussy cut and the words from the sentiment cut apart.

Thank you for visiting and enjoy the weekend. January's "Show us your AO Art" is in the first week and as always there is a store voucher to win, so come on and get your AO stamps inked up!
