The Bluebird!

Today I am sharing with you a tag on card using the gorgeous "Bluebird" collection. I so love these stamps and could not wait to get them inked. The tag background was started some time ago and had a marbled paint technique on it, but from there I added a little crackle, stenciling and added the text from the Bluebird plate, along with some flicks of paint and stain.

All images were stamped in Black Archival. The main focal image and the extra little flying Bluebird were colored using chalks as I wanted a soft and vintage feel. After I was done with the chalk colors, I gave a spray of sealer.

Also felt a little stamping of the "birds on the wire" was in order on the inked ribbon tie.
