So nice that you could stop by on this wonderful Wednesday! Hope you all are enjoying the summer and this brings me to thinking about a nice road trip! Well hopefully soon!
What better way to travel than with the Route 66 collection and this is one of my old time favorites! In fact this card was made over two years ago and I just wanted to share it here. The background is embossed, highlighted and the entire piece clear embossed.
The old time car/motel scene and map were stamped using Stazon Timber Brown and then colored in with Distress ink. Had to add a shrink plastic cactus and applied a few mica flakes on the ground. The map was further distressed and added some splats to look like spilled coffee. A few layered and distressed panels of paper and all is good to go!
Thank you for stopping by and starting in June, my new day of the week to share with you will be on Friday's, so see you then!

The word retro sprang to mind when I saw that fabulous embossed background, I love the Route 66 plate and I love the way you have used it - the faux coffee stains are perfect! Anne xx
