Garden of Laughter and Dreams

Hello everyone, I'm here to share a garden of laughter and dreams with you today.
The focal stamp is one of the quotes from the fabulous Chalkboard Wisdom plate, stamped in Versamark onto kraft card and embossed in Vanilla White embossing powder.
There's some double doily action using the Tim Holtz On the Edge doily die.  One is plain white card, inked with Gathered Twigs.  The other has glass micro beads, Verdigris embossing powder and Peeled Paint Distress Embossing powder added.
I gesso'd some Wild Orchid roses and added them around the edge, curling the wires. The tiny wooden hearts are by UmWow Studios.  And my Tim Holtz Spring Greenery Decorative Strip Die has been in action again, as you can see.
I created the glass bead ornaments using those pebbles you get for putting in vases and some book pages.  If you want any more making-of details, you can find them here.
Why not come and share your Artistic Outpost projects with us in the February Referral Program?  We always love seeing what you create, and there's a prize draw at the end of the month.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you soon.

Alison...my gosh! There is no end to your creativity, is there? This page is absolutely gorgeous. I love the chalkboard sentiment on the kraft paper. Gorgeous little flowers interwoven into your design with the "vines", die cut foliage and hearts. Those little glass beads really add a pop, don't they? I've noticed that you've used those on a couple of your latest pieces and I love what they add. <3 Candy

Very gorgeous; I'm loving everythign about it! I don't know why but "double doily action" made me laugh in an unladylike way. I covet your TH greenery die. I may need that for myself... well, not yours, but one of my own.
