Hello Punkin

I love making décor for my front door. This hanging was made using the Vintage Halloween plate. Since it has stamps that can be used for more than just Halloween, this is going to be a favorite plate of mine. Plus, how can you not love that adorable little witch?

I started off with a plain chipboard base. I glued down some Halloween paper in the background although not much is left. I used a stencil and texture paste to create the background. I then went over the dried paste with Distress Paints. Somehow, I made it through the project without using a stamp in the background. That is a first. I then painted my stamped images and layered them over top several ephemera pieces. I went to town with the Stickles on this hanging. I love how it glitters and shines. Flowers, ribbon and lace complete the hanging. Thank you for stopping by today. Don’t forget you have a week left to join in our August Referral Challenge.
