Seashells By The Seashore

It is another Wednesday and I am thrilled to share with you another "Boardwalk" creation! I am so loving this new release and through June 8th, the "Boardwalk" and all Artistic Outpost stamps are 15% off, so take advantage and stock up on the hot deals of Summer!
When I started with this one, I was not quite sure what I was going to do. I knew I wanted to use those seashells for a background and I wanted a more rusty beachy type frame!
The Seashell background was first inked with Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Pumice Stone and then I sprinkled some Gold UTEE and Stampendous Aged Gold and Silver and heat from underneath. The seashell trio was masked and then randomly stamped using Archival Coffee and Sepia.
The "Postal" frame was cut from corrugated cardboard, covered with Rock Candy Crackle, Inked with Vintage Photo Stain and then covered with Distress Gold Paint here and there and on the edges.
This is actually more true to the color of the entire card, which for some reason was difficult to photograph! The Sentiment was stamped in Sepia and cut with deckled scissors and edged with the Gold Distress Paint.
The lovely lady was stamped in Coffee and colored with Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose and then fuzzy cut! I added a little red to her sweet lips.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my project! There is plenty of time to join in the June Monthly Referral Program, so come along and play with those AO stamps!
