It's the Girls' Turn

Still loving the Paper Boy plate, I decided to soften it a little by using some Pion Design papers.   The sentiment on the tag is from Flower Market.

I stamped the paper girls in Jet Black archival on white CS and sponged liberally with Vintage Photo DI, then stitched around the edges, leaving an opening to insert the tag.  The rayon seam binding triple bow was dyed with Tattered Rose distress ink.
My distressed doily was topped off with some ancient paper flowers from my stash and a bit of hand dyed Venise lace from my store and I added a couple of flowers for a bit of whimsey.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

Gorgeous! Love this stamp plate soon to have a home with me. :) The zig zag stitching is so cool, adds a lot of interest to the pic!

Oh my goodness... this is so lovely, Linda! The papers work so well to soften the hard-knock girls, and the ribbon is glorious!
