Imagine My Life

Hello all, it's lovely to be back here at Artistic Outpost.
I've got a wall hanging to share with you today, using stamps from two of my absolute favourite AO sets: Think and Wonder and Generation Redux.
I chose all the "pairs" - to me they all look like pairs of siblings - and stamped them in Archival ink, blending Sepia, Coffee and Black onto the stamps.
I layered them up with different textures: lace for the sisters (well, there's that hint right there on the stamp), metal for the brothers, and burlap for the brother and sister.
They're arranged onto a corrugated card background, distressed with paint and Distress Stains, and I added the die-cut word IMAGINE cut from some paper treated with wrinkle-free distress technique, as was the paper I stamped the images on.
Then I layered up some flowers in textures to match the materials behind my three images.
I added rusty hearts with some painty distressing, and rusty wire to hang the whole thing up.  If you'd like more details on how I made anything, or just some more close-ups, you can find them here.  But for now I'll wish you a wonderful week, and happy crafting!
