Hearts and Flowers

I wanted to go a little more feminine and floral for this week's sample and combined this post with a multi layered project I needed for another design team.  The reds and heart were a little spillover from Valentine's Day.  I wanted the central image to imitate a French style enameled plaque so I sponged the edges with black and gave it two coats of UTEE.  All stamping including the floral pattern on the heart were done with the Flower Market plate.  The sentiment was stamped directly on the seam binding with Jet Black archival ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week.

The red ribbon pops so beautifully, and I'm in love with that "vintage" plaque - lovely!
