Happy Wednesday again! Terry here to share with you a card celebrating my love of birds and hoping that Spring is just around the corner! For this card I used the gorgeous "Birds of a Feather" and "Quote and Quotables" stamp plates. Don't you just love that quote and how true it is!
The sweet little bird and quote were stamped using Archival Sepia and then colored with Distress Inks Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, Festive Berries, Squeezed Lemonade. For the bird I did an out of the box technique with the Spellbinders die and that was my first time!! I did like the tail feather off the edge! All edges were shaded with Vintage Photo. For the metal wings and feather, I lightly sanded and then inked over using Distress Stain Antique Bronze. The background panes were embossed and highlighted.
