On My Travels

The Artistic Outpost May Referral Program theme is Travel and I knew straight away that I wanted to use the fabulous Paris Exposition plate.
My card is 6" x 6" which I covered in PARIS paper tape and then cut a circular aperture from the centre.  I then cut a circle from white card, stamped the Eiffel Tower and added to the background, sponging the edges with fired brick Distress Ink. Fleur de lis were added to the top of my card cut from white card using the movers and shapers die and colouring with fired brick ink.

For added interest I added the handsome gentlemen from the Paris Exposition plate to the film strip cut using Tim's die, coloured with vintage photo ink. I added the PARIS charm attached with string and TRAVEL using an alphabet block.

Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful piece, Tracy. I love the red tones in this card!!! I don't use die cuts all that much...but yours look amazing! I think I need to try using them more. You really make them look fantastic! <3 Candy
