The Cat's Meow

Happy Saturday Stampers! Here is another card using last month's new releases Diesel Punk and Industrial Chic. I used this for a birthday card after I added some numerals, which you can see on my blog. 

I sanded the blue cardstock, and tore and inked the edges in Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The propeller images were stamped in Cotton White StazOn on the blue background. All of the images except the propellers, were stamped in Pumice Stone Distress Ink, colored in with watercolor pencils, and heat embossed in clear distress powder. The propellers were stamped in Jet Black Archival onto the light tan cardstock then cut out. The sentiment was stamped in black StazOn onto transparency, and then cut out and placed on the banner. I punched holes in the banner and ran string from it to the plane. Stars and propellers were added throughout.
