Welcome to Artistic Outpost Blog. Connie here and I have a book front for an altered album I am making. The book cover features the "Flapper" stamp plate from Artistic Outpost. This is one of my favorite sets; for it depicts an era, of a group of women that expressed themselves in fashion, character and music. The technique used for this altered piece is a method I gleened from Shelley Hickox, who, was also a designer for Artistic Outpost. Gesso and various colors of Ranger Alcohol inks blended vibrantly with the Warhole technique.
