Framed Art - Snowy Woods

Hi, Lisa here today and I have a quick and easy framed art piece to share with you featuring one of the Santa images from Snowy Woods.  I've also altered a plaster mitten ornament using one of the snowflakes from this same set.

First up, the altered frame, a gift I made for a friend....

I've had these frames in my alterables stash for quite some time, I had bought them a few years ago in the Target Dollar Spot.  Click here to see this frame altered using images from Sleigh Ride.

On a recent trip to Joann's I found some wonderful Plaster Ornaments on sale for 50 cents, and thought they'd be fun to alter.  Here I painted the top and side with Rangers Red Pepper Dabber, once dry, I painted the mitten with Gesso (let dry) then applied Rangers Picket Fence Crackle Paint.  Once the Crackle Paint was dry, I stamped the Snowflakes from Snowy Woods in Barn Red Distress Ink.

We'd love to see your holiday ideas using Artistic Outpost images, be sure to read the details about the December Referral Program.  Play along for a chance to win a $14 Artistic Outpost Gift Certificate.

Have a great weekend!
