Christmas in Jane's Countryside

Thanks to the influence of Lisa Somerville, I've really gotten into making ornaments this year. Lisa had shown me an ornament she decorated with these ornament blanks. I made another set a while ago with other stamps. Then I found some more of the blanks at Michaels at half price. Who could resist? The ornaments feel like porcelain and have a romantic, old fashioned look to them. I just had to stamp images from Jane's Countryside on them. At first I was going to stamp in black and use paints to color them. Then I decided to try using the blue Staz-On. I liked the results so much, I didn't want to use any more color. They reminded me so much of Delft china. To complete the look I edged the ornaments with antique gold Creative Inspirations paint. These ornaments are going up on my tree tonight.
