Beauty Shop Beauty

I use this vintage image from Hair Is Important to make a birthday card for a co-worker whose very first job was selling beauty supplies.
I stamped the image in Blackbird Chalk ink and added color highlights with Prismacolor pencils.

this is just adorable! I am so excited that you posted this card because I just purchased this image from AO a short while back. I am having a hard time stamping a clear image with it- any hints? thanks- jane w. jakewetzma @ aol.com

I e-mailed some tips that will hopefully help ... the keys are usually a good chalk, pigment or India ink that provides nice, full coverage on the image ... as well as stamping on foam or a surface that has just a little give to make sure the stamp fully comes into contact with the paper.
