Quick Takes on Some Fabulous Sets

I am a total bookaholic so I get a ton of novels over the holiday season. I needed some bookmarks to help out with all the new items on my bookshelf!

I love Artistic Outpost sets because you have everything you need to make a great creation all in one set and they all coordinate wonderfully.

Here's a glimpse of what I mean!

I started out by creating a distress ink sponged base and stampeed some very different bookmarks all from that same beginning!

I hope you have fun making easy projects like these bookmarks or wonderfully complex creations with these fabulous sets! Check out the Artistic Outpost gallery to see all the awesome art by the Design Team for your favorite set.

Merry Christmas

The Snowflakes are embossed using the CuttleBug Snowflake Folder. To add color to the panel, I used a combination of CuttleBug Highlights and Antiqued Glimmers Techniques to the Artichoke Panel - the Antiqued Glimmers ended up just where I wanted them on the snowflakes only. For the Antiqued Glimmers, I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink and Pearl Glimmer Mist.

The image and sentiment are from the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods plate. The image is stamped in Black Archival on White card stock, then colored using and H20 Brush and Distress Inks. The cool border is made using the Arch Lattice Punch.

From all of us at Artistic Outpost - we wish you a Merry Christmas!

Quick and Easy Last-Minute Gifts

These kraft journals were a great find but matched with the beautiful collage images from Artistic Outpost, they became wonderful gifts too! I have to admit I'm going to keep a couple for myself.

Letting an image really take center stage is so fun! That's what I love about Artistic Outpost images. They make it easy to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Tags inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas

These are some lovely examples by Artistic Outpost customer, Shelly Hickox. Thanks for sharing Shelly!!!

AO designer, Lynn Stevens, also used our "home" truck in her take on one of his tags. Beautiful Lynn. (Lynn's is the one on the top.)

Snowy Woods

Who's in the mood for making ornaments???  I love this Santa image from Snowy Woods.  The Neenah Baronial Ivory cardstock is very smooth, and takes the ink nicely.
